Tonight, we went on a half-camping trip. We had the fun of a campfire dinner/dessert, and came home to sleep in our beds. All of us except Taylor and Aubree. They decided to tough it out. Tough it out, you ask? Well, when we arrived to the campground, there was a newly weaned cub walking through the camp that we were at. It frightened the kids a little. Grown ups too, but we still enjoyed our foil dinners, roasted hot dogs, and smores. You're killing me smalls. Brooke set up the fire, and kept it going for all of us. Tay cooked the food, or more like heated it up. Mike babysat Andy. The kids ran back and forth from the tent to the fire. The ladies watched, and helped kids as needed. All-in-all it was a fun half-camping experience.

I can't believe you actually saw a bear! When mom told me you guys were going up to barton flats that's the first thing i thought of. That is where you always hear of boyscouts getting attacked. I would have left too. Yikes!! I was pretty stoked to see a picture though...
You've been misinformed. We didn't go to Barton Flats. Just a local campground. But still, it has bears. Yikes!
yeah, good times, but scary bears!
i can't believe it was right there in our camp site! so glad we got to go home and get a good sleep and then have energy for our fun beach trip today:)
Where was this? I can't believe Tay didn't show off his manliness and wrestle down that bear for any food it might have been carrying. At least everyone had fun...So Taub decided to spend the night even after the bear sighting eh? Brave souls.
Sorry Aub! I had to delete this comment, because I'm careful about not mentioning names of nearby places to our home.
yeah that could be bad!
